Andrew and I did a rare thing today and went to a matinee. We realized we hadn’t gone to a movie theatre since “Lord of the Rings - Return of the King” - tsk tsk and here we are living in movie town. Well, I’m happy to say the walk to the local AMC was a great idea because the movie “Sideways” was awesome!! I would call it a buddy/misfit/road trip dramady that’s completely lovable. Alexander Payne is the writer/director, who also directed “About Schmidt” another favourite of mine. Here are some of the good things being said about Sideways.
