Okay I know fruitcake is not everybody's favorite, but Andrew and I kind of like the stuff. So this year I decided to try my luck and make some. I found a recipe from my trusty Canadian Living cookbook and I’m hoping they’re going to be delicious. I think brushing them with brandy might help — hic. The taste test will be on Christmas day because the cakes have to sit quietly for a time. If any one knows why this is let me know.



Other Christmas activities this weekend have been decorating our tacky silver tree, writing and posting the holiday cards.
