I had this brainy idea that we would make sugar and gingerbread cutout cookies this year. Seduced by the pretty pictures in the magazines I was hoping we could whip up some of our own things of beauty. After all Better Homes and Gardens made it look so easy!

Today we rolled out the cookies and baked them. It took three hours!
