Soggy Sunday December 5

Andrew and I attended the Canadians Abroad Christmas party held at the Consul General’s home. It was a cold and wet afternoon, but the inclement weather didn’t seem to discourage anybody’s holiday spirit. Yes, I know what you are saying up there in the GWN: “You don’t know cold!” Well blah blah it was cold I tell you. Easy for you to say “you know cold” wrapped up in your parkas, cranking the heat and warming your keesters on your heated seats—try standing out in the rain at 7 degrees Celsius with your sandals on.
If you are wondering about our cool hats they are called Hanna Hats and we bought them in Canada last summer.

Well see now there's your problem - we in the GWN don't go out in sandals when it's 7 degrees!
I agree with the comment above. Plus you don't have my sympathy when it was -44 with the windshield last Monday, December 20th in Ottawa. It's not even officially winter yet for goodness sake...lol Lori
