My better half has been asking me all week to blog about the big boulder that is blocking Topanga Canyon Boulvard. This is of some interest to us because we often take this road on our Sunday morning rides. The authorities’ first attempt to dynamite the monster resulted only in the removal of a few small chunks. Alas try try again and today they succeeded demolishing the big ol’rock. Oddly enough I heard the locals were growing rather fond of their new found landmark and hoping perhaps it would not be removed.
