Well we’re back from beautiful Kaua’i and what an amazing place! I plan to post the highlights over the next 7 days that will reflect our 7 day visit.Five facts about Hawai’i/Kaua’i
Hawai’i isn’t just a beautiful place to lay down your beach towel it’s also an incredibly interesting place geographically and historically.
- The Hawaiian Islands are the most isolated island chain in the world.
- The center of Kaua’i is the rainiest spot on earth with an average of 440 inches of rain per year.
- There are no snakes!
- Kaua’i consists of 553 sq miles of beach, rain forest, desert, mountains and plains.
- Kaua’i is the oldest island of the Hawaiian chain.
