Little Green Island in the Big Blue Sea – Day 2
Thursday, January 27, 2005

Some of the beaches required a little work to reach them, like this steep path to Hideaway beach. (right) Wailua Falls one of many waterfalls on the island.

A Hawaiian Monk Seal snoozes on Secret Beach. (right) I did, I did see a chicken!

A pretty picture taken near Hanalei Bay.

Ooh, isn’t it romantic. Hideaway Beach was well worth hike.
Five Facts about Hawaiian Monk Seals

- The Monk Seal is an endangered species.
- They don’t have a natural fear of humans, that’s why they’re endangered.
