Little Green Island in the Big Blue Sea–Day 5
Sunday, January 30, 2005
One of the highlights of our holiday was a two mile hike along the eleven mile Kalalau trail. The trail hugs the uninhabited Na’poli coastline (northwest coast of Kaua’i). The trail proved challenging for novice hikers like us, but was well worth the effort. For a longer hike one would require a state permit for camping.
One quarter mark.
Spectacular views of the coastline. (right) Looking back at Ke’e Beach.

One of my favorite photos.
Just a little closer!
