Andrew had the day off on Monday because of yet another American holiday—President’s Day. He accompanied me to”The Aviator” a movie on my must-see-before-the-Oscars list. That’s four out of the five nominees for best picture I’ve seen. If I’m lucky, I will be able to see “Ray” this week. It’s been a popular rental at our video store. Gosh, I may have to buy it!

Favourite line from the movie: “You’re not a Republican are you? I can’t abide by a Republican!” — Katharine Hepburn (played by Kate Blanchett).
