You can’t just have run-of-the-mill-rain in ol’Californie, it’s gotta be a “Really Big Show”. Here’s a sampling of the recent local news:
- Southern California is being battered by an intense winter storm for the sixth day in a row
- closed Pacific Coast Highway...
- some mountains areas, which have received as much as 10 feet of snow...
- Mudslides on Monday trapped residents in their homes and forced others to flee.
- Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in the water, and traffic was backed up for five miles in both directions, remaining at a standstill in spots five hours later.
- Power outages were reported throughout Southern California.
- Hail pelted several areas and thunder rumbled across the region.
- About a dozen homes in Glendale and three homes in Pasadena were evacuated Monday...
- A Pacific storm that came ashore Saturday produced tornadoes...
