Vintage Patterns to the Rescue!
Tuesday, February 15, 2005
I found these primo crochet patterns at a collectables shop on our recent trip to Hawai’i. You’re probably thinking what the heck were you doing poking around an “antiques/collectables” (code name old junk) shop on the beautiful Island of Kaua’i? I was actual hoping to find some Hawaiian memorabilia to take home as a souvenir. Due to the popularity of Hawaiian collectables, the prices were ridiculous and I found myself unwilling fork over the cash for brick-a-brack of questionable heritage. Luckily, I stumbled upon “Pot Holders to the Rescue” and it saved my day from the doom of a futile souvenir hunt. Oh, if life could be so easy!
Pearls of wisdom from Pot Holders To The Rescue: “Since the way to a man’s heart is through his tummy, rescuing hot pots and pans from the fire is woman’s lot.”
