Anza-Borrego Desert
Monday, March 21, 2005
Here are a few photos from the weekend. I'm not too good with identifing flowers, but I'll do my best.

Hillside view of Anza-Borrego Desert—State Park. The flowers
in the forground are brittlebush, we saw plenty of those.

(Left) Hedgehog Cactus, I think?
(Right) Beavertail Cactus, that I'm sure of.

(Left) A little baby Barrel Cactus. These suckers can grow
up to ten feet tall!
(Right) Desert Sunflowers (orange) and Desert Chicory (white).

I liked the look of the old trees against the sky–very dramatic.
