So many shoes so little time. Today, I went to LA’s fashion district for a taste of my first sample sale. Once a month or so, LA’s designers have a clearinghouse open to the grasping public. Women of all shapes, colors, ages and *below size eight were clawing to nab the latest fashions at discounted prices. Juicy Couture appeared to be the most popular spot with women disrobing on the spot to try on the pastel terrycloth confections. I myself bought a silk tunic (not Juicy) after demurely trying it on over my clothing.

We also saw at least a million shoes along Santee Fashion Alley.
