Yup, even Spotted Dick pudding, an olde English classic, can be found in the big bad LA-tropolis.

During our trip to England two years ago, Andrew (much to his glee) discovered the existence of Spotted Dick pudding. “Spotting” it on the menu one evening (heh heh), brought gales of laughter and the expected Monty Pythonesque dialogue. “Excuse me Sir, but do you have any Spotted Dicks?” Har! Har! I have to say, this revelation was much to my surprise. After all, my husband was brought up by a most proper British mother and father and steamed puddings were never a rarity in their household. Although, now that I think of it, with three boys with the same sense of humour this could have been a disaster on more delicate occasions.
