I had this idea a few weeks ago when I first bought my watercolor pencils. This IF’s weekly topic presented the perfect opportunity to test the waters (heh heh). I know, I’m not very funny.

I really like the way you've put this together - the 3D aspect of it and the kind of ironic fact that's it's "Aquatic" but made with mostly organic-type materials (plus watercolour pencils). There are so many ways to tackle this subject - you and I came up with similar content, but vastly different approaches!

I like your water colouring a lot!Great blue sqiggles! Reminds me of a shadow box made when very young with crepe paper, pipe cleaners and crayoned cutouts of fish hanging on thread of "The Aquarian".
This is nicely composed. I like it.
