Friday File: Wal*Mart as cool as Target?

Blah! That'll be the day. This week I read in USA Today that Wal*Mart has its hairy eyeball on Target's "cheap chic" market share. It's not enough that Wal*Mart, according to Fortune 500 Magazine, is the biggest, wealthiest company in the whole wide world, but they must annihilate all competition. I was happy to be informed that market analysis indicates this is not likely to happen because Wal*Mart is too cheap to spend the dough on marketing. As the name states, Target does its homework and brings that little something special to the masses at a reasonable price.

Well I'm glad to find another Target lover. I agree totally with your thoughts about Walmart. Blah! There is something special about Target that I hope will never change. :)
