I've finished this stupid sweater that I started, dare I say it, in June. I can't tell you how many times I frogged* (restarted) this project. My first mistake was to use a different yarn from what the pattern suggested. I had to start over every time I dropped a stitch because the un-suggested yarn was too slippery to fix—rip rip. Then there was a problem with the size (way too small)—rip rip. Then the arm holes were too big-rip rip. Then too small-rip rip. But after all that frustration I refused to give up (I paid way too much for the yarn) and I am rewarded with a mediocre garment that I may wear around the house. Stupid sweater.

The photo of your hooded sweater looks fabulous. I've frogged one poncho 3 times and a shawl twice... I don't know if I am getting perfectionistic in my "old age" or if I just feel too old to add to my stash! I found your post via EDM. Great "chair" in the coffee shop. I find that as long as I don't make eye contact more than 3 times, I can draw whatever I want... and I promise myself that if somebody asks what I've drawn, I'll show them.
