I haven't participated in Illo Friday for ages. This week's topic is lost and I'm early! As a kid growing up in the tundra I was always loosing my hats, mitts and scarves— you name it, I lost it. I was inspired by this old photo myself with my sister and the neighbourhood kids. Brrrrr.

that's very cute, and brings me back. our mom used to crochet a length of yarn from one mitten to the other...long enough to reach through both sleeves of our coats.
