I've been telling my big sis for weeks about how hot and dry it has been here in the Southland. So what happens? The day they arrive for a visit we have torrential downpours and lingering thunderstorms. I usually like rain, but this is ridiculous.

It was raining such buckets today at 2 that it looked almost as dark as night out the window. Very weird. We must have been literally in a cloud on the ground.
