I remember how hard this was!!! Especially when you hadn't yet built up any muscle. Kinda kid torture...imagine giving a five year old a 10 lb weight and saying you HAVE to lift this! LOL

I remember getting picked on by the kids who could do that. In retrospect, it was a ridiculos exercise for 6 year olds...but I digress.

i'm still that little kid! i never could climb a rope!

i think phys ed teachers have way too much power over vulnerable children.

physical exercise - good
hyper-competition and bullies - bad

an excellent illustration. i love the pink cheeks.
