This is from one of the old pattern books I found recently—definitely from the weird 70s. I don't think I've ever seen a man wear a poncho before, let alone a flaming red yellow and orange one. Tee-he, and I'm not sure what the blond fellow is hiding under his fancy stripped tunic.

Priceless. Just priceless.
It takes me back to the time that I sewed a dashiki for my husband of Danish/German heritage because it was so au courant at the time. It was yellow with some sort of ethnic looking woven binding. He would have fit right into that layout.
