A test run the rest will go in the freezer.
I don't like to toot my own horn, but I must say I make a rather good chicken pot pie. The secret is homemade stock made from a roasted chicken carcass—a bit of trouble for sure, but far better than using some old canned stock. It's not a quick meal to make, but since my foody dad is coming for a visit next week I thought I would stock the freezer with the house specialty.
