Well that’s what it’s doing here anyway, hopefully it’s sunny skies where you are. I don’t have teachers training this weekend so we have a few outings planned.

Saturday we’re going to try a new (new to us) restaurant called La Cabanita. Since our favorite restaurant closed in Pasadena I’ve been on the hunt for a new hangout—if you call going to a restaurant every three months or so hanging out. I’ve been reading up on LA restaurants through the LA Weekly which is the primo source for restaurant reviews in Los Angeles. In fact the author Jonathan Gold just won a Pulitzer prize for his colorful reviews. This week there is a review of The Oinkster, which we sampled just recently

Sunday we’re going downtown to visit the Spring Art Walk 2007. Over 100 artist will be displaying their work at studio prices. I hope to acquire a reasonable priced piece of art to take home.
