Margaritas As Big As Your Head: Dinner at La Cabanita
Sunday, April 22, 2007
I enjoyed our outing to La Cabanita although I have to say I did not enjoy my meal. It was a creative and well prepared dish, but the food combination was not to my liking. It sounded promising enough, Stuffed Chiles a La Cabanita—chilly peppers filled with a mixture of chicken, almonds and raisons. I like all of those things, but not when it's covered in a layer of baked sweet cream. It was very odd and not a good choice for somebody who doesn't even like sour cream. Next time I'm going to have the Sopes. That's what Andrew had and they were quite tasty.
